BIG NEWS!
This August through Labor Day, Happy Thought Knits will be in residence at Crocker Park in Westlake, Ohio.
I haven't done any markets or pop-ups in the suburbs yet, so I'm excited to meet more Clevelanders and feel the love from the west siders. I love the variety of shops at Crocker Park, but I haven't seen anything there quite like Happy Thought—so I think I'll be filling a nice little niche that I hope customers love. I'm considering this residency a very valuable market experiment and a fun way to see how it feels selling Happy Thought more consistently as a shop, rather than a pop-up market booth. Who knows, maybe this will lead to something even bigger for me!
For now, here are some answers to questions you may have about the residency.
What products will you have at your cart?
I'll bring all of my stock of cardigans, vests, and headwear—plus a variety of smaller items like bag charms, keychains, and hair accessories.
Where will you be located within Crocker Park?
You'll find me set up in a mobile cart at Center Circle, near Barnes & Noble. Check out this map—it doesn't list Happy Thought Knits, but just look for Barnes & Noble and head in that direction.
When will your shop be open?
I plan to get set up on Monday, August 3. I'm still working out my shop hours, but as soon as I have them solidified I will be updating this blog post with everything you'll need to know. For now, my residency remains through Labor Day, which is September 7—but if weather permits I'll have the chance to extend on a weekly basis. Stay tuned!

This opportunity could not have been possible without my being awarded the Morgan Startup Grant from the Baldwin Wallace University LaunchNET program and Burton D. Morgan Foundation. Special thanks to Caite Lenahan Angle for her support.
